The sketches are turned into detailed 3D models using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. This gives a precise digital version of the jewelry, showing every curve and setting.
3. Wax Model Creation
From the CAD file, a wax model is 3D-printed or hand-carved. This wax model is an exact replica of the final piece and is used to create a mold.
4. Casting the Jewelry
The wax model is placed in a special container and covered with a plaster-like material. Once hardened, the wax is melted away, leaving a perfect hollow mold. Molten precious metal (like gold or platinum) is then poured into this mold to form the jewelry’s basic structure.
5. Diamond Selection
